Body Jewellery Shop

I admit I am a Jewellery junkie but even more so when it comes to Ear piercings! Recently I received earrings from Body Jewellery Shop in the post!

Body Jewellery Shop is an online store that sells literally any sort of Jewellery for every piercing! I was spoilt for choice! If you’re looking to jazz up your look then I 100% recommend having a look at their website, you will not be disappointed.

I have had my helix pierced for 5 years now and for the majority of that time I have only ever wore a plain bar (boring I know)  so I was made up when I was sent two helix earrings one Sterling silver and a Rose Gold plated Ear cuff I absolutely love these ear cuffs especially the rose gold it’s not something I have seen before.

When I first went to wear this ear cuff I had a slight problem undoing the ball it was a little awkward to screw the ball back on because it’s so small, so if you can I’d advise to get someone to help you with this earring! Or you may find yourself searching high and low for the ball you’ve just dropped!

The next product I was sent are these gorgeous studs, these are another one of my favourites on the website! Jewelled Square Clear earrings I was surprised at how sparkly these actually are! And due to their simple classic look they go perfectly with every outfit!

What I Would Wear To The Races

The most glamourous day in the racing calendar is nearly upon us, Cheltenham Races. With any sort of race day comes the dilemma of trying to find the perfect outfit, every year we must spend hours if not days searching for that perfect dress, shoes, bag and fascinator.

I absolutely love the races, it’s a chance for you to get your glad rags on, sip champagne and put some bets on, can you get any more civilised?!
Previous years I have gone to The Grand National or Ladies Day in Aintree which have never disappointed and always been brilliant days out.

Dressing for the occasion could be a little problematic, as the event is held in March it’s more than likely to still be cold and rain is most likely, dressing appropriately is a must, there’s nothing more I hate then being absolutely freezing at these events.

It’s quite a formal occasion Ladies Day, which means it’s acceptable to dig out the highest pair of shoes and biggest hat you own!

As for the outfit I don’t think I could get away with a really summery number, black could be classed as too wintery and white, well that could end in disaster!

So I picked this dress from TFNC LONDON the dress design is made up of beads which makes it a little heavy when worn but it’s perfect for Ladies day! I would team this up with a pashmina to keep me a little warmer! I have some black Carvela shoes which would go perfect with this dress, plus they are so comfortable! Another must when you are at the races and finally to finish the look I would add this fascinator.

With a few more weeks to go there’s a good chance Ill change my mind (again) girls, I’m not on my own, right?

Home of the Titanic

What used to be Albion House is formally now known as 30 James street – home of the Titanic, last year I had arranged an interview with the owner of the build, Lawrence Kenwright unfortunelty he was unable to attend the interview but that resulted into me having my very own personal tour of 30 James street which still hadn’t been opened to the public! ( I know who did I think I am having my own personal tour!) although it was still under construction  it was amazing!

This building had been unoccupied for years so when I got speaking to one of the builders I was dying to know if anything had been left by the previous occupiers, he then showed me these two original copper names plates that had been left (Blue Star Line and Lambert and Hope) baring in mind these copper plates are a piece of history I felt pretty special having the chance to hold it also making sure I didn't go and drop it.

Ever since it opened officially to the public I have been dying to get down and see how it looks completely finished! So what better way to start the weekend off then a Friday fun-day having afternoon tea, I was in my element, never mind the champagne you could have unlimited tea!

Unlimited tea is perfect if you are a tea addict like myself! but it was Friday the sun was out, champagne was going down a treat (do i need anymore excuses) so the drinks didn't stop there, out came the drinks menu, top of the list Liverpool Gin, if you haven't tried it then you have too!! you will not be disappointed!

Carpathia Champagne Bar is situated on the very top floor of the building with its very own rooftop bar,you have views of the  Three Graces, River Mersey and Albert Dock what more could you want while visiting the city!
